MY WORK
After earning a degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Wisconsin, I worked as a landscape designer in Portland and Minneapolis., I returned to Madison to do Landscape design with Jung Landscaping. During winters I developed an enriching and diverse career in interior design. I began to specialize in reclaimed materials, sourcing high-quality lumber for sustainable projects. Those projects began to draw the attention of select restauranteurs and led to many opportunities doing design/build of businesses across the city. I delivered distinctively designed, fully operational commercial spaces under tight deadlines, ensuring high customer demand upon opening. I then parlayed those experiences into founding, designing, and operating The Roman Candle Pizzeria. The Roman Candle enjoyed a success that eventually included three locations after having won Best New Restaurant in 2005. Upon selling the business in 2012, I added animation and motion graphics to my repertoire and for a brief time and created television commercials for the Madison market. I did, however, return to design/build for local businesses and then eventually returned to landscape design with The Bruce Company .Below is a look into some of the landscape and commercial interior projects that I have designed and built as well as examples of my design and rendering skills. Thank you for your time!
